Turkish Ministry of Trade Support for Exhibiting at Trade Fairs in Poland

Under its support for fairs abroad (yurt dışı fuar desteği), the Turkish Ministry of Trade (T.C. Ticaret Bakanlığı) covers part of the costs of Turkish exporters who exhibit with a stand at fairs abroad on its published lists, calculated per square metre of stand area. The Ministry's 2026 lists include 36 trade fairs in Poland; at 5 of them there is a national participation (milli katılım), coordinated by organisers appointed by the Ministry. To receive the support, a company must apply through the Support Management System (Destek Yönetim Sistemi, DYS) within 3 months after the fair ends.

Last checked: 22 October 2026. Last update of the Ministry's fair list page: 19 October 2026.

What does the support cover?

The support is calculated on the stand area at the fair, in square metres. For each fair, the Ministry sets and publishes a base amount (desteğe esas tutar) per m². This amount is paid to the participant towards space rent, transport, travel and stand costs. A separate, higher amount is published for micro and small enterprises.

Example: For Fast Textile 2026, to be held in Łódź on 17–19 November 2026, the base amount is 10,018 TL per m², and 15,028 TL for micro and small enterprises. For a company exhibiting on a 20 m² stand, the calculated support is 20 × 10,018 = 200,360 TL; if the company is a micro or small enterprise, it is 20 × 15,028 = 300,560 TL. Both amounts are below the 2026 cap for sectoral fairs. Payment is made after the application has been reviewed and approved, provided the conditions are met.

The support has these limits:

  • Cap per fair (2026): 1,231,848 TL for sectoral fairs and 3,698,274 TL for prestige fairs (738,563 TL for general fairs). The fairs on the individual participation (bireysel katılım) list are sectoral fairs. The caps are updated at the start of each year; the cap for the year in which the fair takes place applies.
  • Limit by expenses: the support paid may in no case exceed 75% of the expenses it covers.
  • Fairs per year: support covers at most 5 fairs starting in one calendar year. For micro and small enterprises, and for producer/manufacturer organisations (üretici/imalatçı kuruluşları: the federations, unions, associations and exporters' associations that represent companies in the same branch of production), the number is 10.
  • Prestige fairs: prestige fair support can be used for at most 2 fairs in a calendar year; any domestic prestige fair support (for fairs in Türkiye) used in the same year is deducted from this number. This support must be requested separately in the payment application in DYS. Prestige status raises the cap per fair, not the amount per m². In 2026, MSPO (Kielce) is the only fair in Poland on the prestige fair list: at 16,244 TL per m², the sectoral cap is reached at about 76 m².
  • The same fair: this support can be received for participation in the same fair at most 10 times; a fair counts as the same fair even if its name, venue or scope changes.
  • One stand: if a company exhibits at a fair with more than one stand, only one stand of its choice is supported.
  • Debt offsetting: if a company has overdue tax or social security (SGK) debts, the support is first offset against those debts.

The difference between national and individual participation

National participation: Turkish companies exhibit together, coordinated by an organiser appointed by the Ministry to run participations at fairs abroad. These fairs are on the Ministry's "Yurt Dışı Fuar Organizasyonları" (fair organisations abroad) list, together with the organiser and the office that reviews the applications (başvuru mercii). A stand in a national participation is booked through the organiser named on the list; for the participation terms and the stand price, companies need to contact that organiser directly. In 2026, the fairs in Poland with a national participation are:

Fast Textile 202617 November 2026 – 19 November 2026LodzMeridyenİTKİB

Individual participation: the company rents its stand directly from the fair's organiser. To be supported, the fair must be on the Ministry's "Bireysel Katılımı Desteklenen Sektörel Nitelikteki Uluslararası Fuarlar" (international sectoral fairs supported for individual participation) list. A participating company can ask, through DYS, for a fair that is not on the list to be added, no later than 1 month before the fair starts; the Ministry assesses the request. To be added, the fair must be sectoral and international, it must be possible to assess its performance in previous years, and information about the fair must be available on an official website.

For fairs in Poland, the 2026 national and individual lists give the same base amount and the same micro and small enterprise amount; the only difference is the target-sector amount in ENERGETAB 2026's national participation row (see below). Otherwise, the difference lies in who organises the participation and which office reviews the application.

At fairs with a national participation, the Ministry assigns an observer. The observer records the stand area of both the national participants and the Turkish companies exhibiting individually at the same fair in a written record, which the company's representative at the stand signs. The signature confirms that the details in the record are correct, and in case of dispute the record prevails; it is therefore advisable to check the square metres before signing. In a national participation, the fair evaluation form handed out by the observer must also be filled in and returned; otherwise the application is not considered.

Who can benefit, and which documents are needed?

The support is available to companies that are members of an exporters' association (ihracatçı birliği) and to producer/manufacturer organisations based in Türkiye (sectoral federations, unions and associations). The main documents required with the application are:

  • a capacity report (kapasite raporu) from the chamber of industry and/or commerce the company is registered with, valid on the date of the fair or on the date of the application, or a document showing that a capacity report was applied for before the fair (where the legislation provides for it, an expertise report or an activity certificate);
  • for trading companies that market a manufacturer's products (pazarlamacı şirket), the marketing agreement with the manufacturer and the manufacturer's capacity report;
  • for participants who use at their stand the name, brand or logo of a company for which they produce under private label or on contract, or whose products they sell or distribute, documents showing this relationship;
  • at fairs without an observer, documents showing participation in the fair and the stand area (such as an invoice, contract, proof of payment, catalogue, passport, ticket or boarding pass, or proof of accommodation), and a letter from the fair's main organiser showing that the organiser the company booked with is authorised.

Micro and small enterprises: companies registered as micro or small enterprises in the database of KOSGEB (Türkiye's SME development organisation), in which no legal entity or public body holds 25% or more of the shares, can receive the higher amount on the list. To do so, they must request this amount in the payment application in DYS.

Points to watch before and during the fair

  • Payment method: space rent must be paid from the bank account of the company, or of a person authorised to spend on its behalf, to the account of the fair's authorised organiser or to the account stated on the invoice. Cash paid into a bank account and payments by customer cheque or endorsed cheque are not covered by the support. Payment by credit card is accepted.
  • Stand: the stand must be open on the first day of the fair; before the fair ends, the products must not be packed up and the stand emptied, and the stand staff must not leave the fair.
  • Appearing as a Turkish company: being shown as a foreign (non-Turkish) company in the fair's materials, or exhibiting foreign products or brands, leads to the loss of the support. Foreign brands and logos used in private-label or contract manufacturing may be used, provided the relationship is documented in DYS and the stand does not give the impression of a foreign company.
  • Shared stand: if more than one participant has been invoiced for the same stand area, none of them can receive the support.

How to apply

  1. Register in DYS. Applications are made through the Ministry of Trade's Support Management System (DYS). To be registered in the system, companies use forms EK A, EK B and EK C on the Ministry's DYS page; it is advisable to complete the registration before the fair.
  2. Check the list. Check whether the fair is on the list for the year in which it takes place. The 2026 fairs are in the table below; as of 22 October 2026, the 2027 lists have not been published yet. If the fair is not on the list, a request to add it can be made no later than 1 month before it starts.
  3. Document the participation. At fairs with an observer, the company's representative at the stand signs the observer's record; at other fairs, keep the invoices, contracts and bank payment records.
  4. Apply. The application is made through DYS within 3 months after the fair ends. What counts for the deadline is the date on which the completed application is submitted in DYS. Late applications are not considered.
  5. Review. For individual participation, the application is reviewed and decided by the general secretariat of exporters' associations (İhracatçı Birlikleri Genel Sekreterliği, İBGS) responsible for the association the company belongs to; for national participation, by the reviewing office named on the list. If documents reported missing during the review are not provided within 2 months of the notice, the application is not considered.

The Ministry's lists also have a "target country/target sector" (hedef ülke/hedef sektör) column. In 2026, among the fairs in Poland, only ENERGETAB's national participation row has an amount in this column (18,851 TL/m²). This amount applies to participants working in the target sectors set by the Ministry; whether a participant works in a target sector is determined by the relevant İBGS on the basis of the activity (NACE) codes in its capacity report. The list may be updated during the year; it is advisable to check the Ministry's current list before applying. For fairs that have already ended, the application period is 3 months from the end of the fair.

Fairs taking place in 2027

As of 22 October 2026, the Ministry of Trade has not yet published its 2027 lists. Which 2027 fairs are supported, and their amounts per m², will be set by the new lists; the 2026 amounts do not apply to 2027. The amounts change from year to year: for BUDMA, for example, the base amount was 7,186 TL per m² in 2025 and 8,944 TL in 2026. The caps per fair for 2027 will also be updated at the start of 2027. This page will be updated when the Ministry publishes the 2027 lists.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Turkish Ministry of Trade support participation in every trade fair in Poland?

No. Only participation in fairs on the Ministry's lists is supported. The 2026 lists include 36 fairs in Poland. A participating company can ask, through DYS, for a sectoral and international fair that is not on the list to be added, no later than 1 month before the fair starts.

How is the support amount calculated?

The stand area in square metres is multiplied by the base amount per m² that the Ministry has published for that fair. The result cannot exceed the cap per fair or 75% of the expenses covered; in 2026, the cap per fair is 1,231,848 TL for sectoral fairs and 3,698,274 TL for prestige fairs.

When and how do companies apply?

Applications are made through the Ministry of Trade's Support Management System (DYS) within 3 months after the fair ends. Late applications are not considered.

Is the support different for national and individual participation?

For fairs in Poland, the 2026 national and individual lists give the same amounts per m²; the only exception is the target-sector amount in ENERGETAB 2026's national participation row. In a national participation, an organiser appointed by the Ministry organises the participation and the Ministry assigns an observer to the fair; in individual participation, the company rents its stand directly.

Can micro and small enterprises receive more support?

Yes, if they meet the conditions. The Ministry's lists publish a separate, higher amount per m² for micro and small enterprises, and these companies can be supported for up to 10 fairs a year. To receive this amount, they must request it in their application in DYS.

Are the support amounts for 2027 fairs known yet?

Not yet. As of 22 October 2026, the Ministry has not published the 2027 lists; the 2026 amounts do not apply to 2027.
