What does the human body really look like and what lies beneath its surface? From October 2 to 4, 2026, EXPO Łódź will host the educational exhibition 'Real Human Bodies', presenting human anatomy in a direct and accessible way. The exhibition will feature five properly preserved human bodies and over 100 authentic anatomical specimens. Visitors will see whole bodies, organs, cross-sections, and detailed structures showing the construction and functioning of various systems of the human body. Exhibits include muscles, bones, the heart, lungs, and brain. The specimens are preserved through plastination, a process where fluids and fats in tissues are replaced with durable polymers. This preserves their shape and anatomical details for educational purposes. The exhibition is aimed at adults, families, students, and anyone interested in medicine and anatomy. A typical visit lasts about 60-90 minutes.
