AMBERIF is the largest jewelry industry trade event in Poland and one of the largest in Europe, a meeting stage for avant-garde goldsmithing and the place where amber trends are born.

AMBERIF is the international fair of amber, jewellery and gemstones, held at AMBEREXPO in Gdańsk. Its organizer calls it the world's most important amber exhibition and the largest jewellery event in Central and Eastern Europe, and it has been held regularly since 1994. There are two editions a year: the spring edition is for the trade only, while the autumn edition is open to everyone. Exhibitors are producers and distributors of jewellery, gemstones, semi-finished jewellery, tools and machines, along with service providers for the trade; the 2025 spring edition had 205 exhibitors from 12 countries and 2,300 trade visitors. Visitors include wholesalers, jewellery shops and chains, designers and goldsmiths, and importers and exporters from Europe, Asia and America. The fair hosts the AMBERIF Design Award, an international competition for amber jewellery design, the AMBERIF Selection award among exhibitors, and AMBER Vibes, a fashion and amber show.

  1. By 11 January 2027: Apply for Schengen visas if your team needs them, and book hotels near the venue.
  2. By 14 January 2027: Order stand construction, furniture and power, and arrange shipping for your exhibits (goods from outside the EU travel on an ATA carnet): logistics.
  3. By 11 February 2027: Book interpreters and hostesses, and print your materials: interpreters and hostesses.
  4. By 4 March 2027: Final checks: exhibitor badges, move-in times and the stand handover.

Questions and answers

Who can visit the spring edition of AMBERIF?

Only buyers and trade visitors from the jewellery business: it is a B2B event, and entry badges are checked together with an ID. Visitors from outside the trade can come to the autumn edition, which is open to everyone.

How often is AMBERIF held?

Twice a year in Gdańsk: a trade-only fair in spring and an edition open to the public in autumn.

What is the AMBERIF Design Award?

An international competition for amber jewellery design, held with the fair. The winning and selected pieces are shown at the fair and then on tour in Poland and abroad.
